When to use it

When additional information must be captured

If the vehicle experiences additional damage, the report must be edited to show the details and images of the damage. 

If the vehicle has been reconditioned

If the vehicle has been reconditioned and the original damage is no longer there, the report must be edited to indicate that the vehicle was reconditioned.

When an error is discovered on the report

If the inspector or the seller realises that the details are incorrect, the valuation must be edited to rectify the error. 

When the customer’s details have changed

The customer’s personal information must be communicated to the dealership and the sales executive must update these details on the valuation report so that the customer is contacted using the correct details.

Where to find it

1. Navigate to the dashboard
2. Click on ‘Valuations’ to access the Valuations grid
3. From the grid, select the vehicle you want to edit
4. Navigate to the second last column
5. Click on the ‘+’ symbol to access the additional features
6. Click on the ‘pencil’ icon to edit the valuation

How to use it

Access Valuations Grid‍

After logging into the Live Auction, select ‘Valuations' from the navigation bar, then select 'Valuations' from the drop-down menu.‍

Open Actions List‍

From the ‘Valuations’ grid, select the ‘+’ icon (second from the far right) on the desired vehicle valuation row in order to expand the menu.

‍Select Edit Valuation‍

From the ‘Valuations’ grid, select the ‘Edit Valuation’ icon on the right-hand-side of the desired valuation row.‍

Edit Valuation Details‍

From this ‘Update Valuation’ page, you are able to edit and update the vehicle’s details.‍

Edit Accessories Details‍

You can edit the accessories found on the vehicle.‍

Edit Panel Damage‍

From this screen, you can edit the damage found on the vehicle. You can remove damage indications in the case of the vehicle’s reconditioning or add damage indications should an incident occur.‍

Edit Mechanical Damage‍

Here you can edit the mechanical damage found on the vehicle. You can capture additional damage found or remove damage that is incorrect or has been reconditioned.‍

Edit Vehicle Images‍

You can upload additional images or upload images that have been recaptured, either because of changes in vehicle damage or lighting situations.‍

View Updated Valuation‍

Once you have clicked ‘Next’ on the previous screen, you will be redirected to the Valuations grid where you can view the valuation report you have updated.
