The mobile app provides an inspection tool to correctly capture the details of a vehicle for a standardised auction vehicle report.
When to use it
When you need to conduct a full inspection of the vehicle to be listed on the DealersOnline auction platform.

How to use it
Capture Vehicle Details
Enter the vehicle year model and vehicle type to initiate the vehicle inspection.
Scan Vehicle Disk
Scan the vehicle disk using the in-app scanner to automatically capture the vehicle registration details
Capture Vehicle Details
Manually select the vehicle’s cosmetic details and complete the vehicle detail form.
Add Customer Details
Scan the customer’s drivers license card to automatically capture their details. Manually capture the missing details on the form.
Capture License Card Image
Capture a clear photo of the driver’s licence card. You can either upload a previously captured photo or capture the image using the in-app camera.
Select Factory Accessories
Select any additional vehicle accessories that the customer requested when acquiring a brand new vehicle.
Select Vehicle Accessories
From the provided list, select the accessories found on the vehicle. You can select the found accessories by tapping on the text. Once selected, the button will turn orange. Additional accessories that are not listed on the app can be captured manually.
Capture Accident Detail
Indicate whether the vehicle has been in an accident. If yes, select the range of severity from the provided dropdown list. Provide a brief description of the accident details. Alternatively, you can make a voice recording..
Indicate Panel Damage
Select the damaged panels using the vehicle images on the screen. All clickable panels are green until they are selected.
Specify Damage Details
Specify the type of damage inflicted on the vehicle and provide an estimated recon amount and description of the cause.
Capture Damage Images
Using the built-in camera function, take a photo of the damage found on the indicated panel. The image should be as close to the damage as possible. Aim to capture the damage in good lighting so that it may be clearly seen on the vehicle report.
Indicate Full Vehicle Damage
Where the damage has affected a greater part of the vehicle, use the additional menu in the bottom right corner of the screen to select the damage found. The tool will automatically highlight the greater section of the vehicle.
Indicate Mechanical Damage
From the provided menu, select the mechanical part where damage is found on the vehicle. Once you’ve clicked on the damaged area, indicate the specific part of the vehicle containing the damage.
Capture Mechanical Damage Details
Select the damaged parts of the vehicle using the slider. Provide an estimated recon amount along with an image and brief description of the damage.
Capture Main Vehicle Images
Capture the vehicle images from every angle as specified on the screen. Use the ghost function and stabiliser to capture the images according to auction standards.
Accept Inspection Declaration
Tap the slider at the bottom of the declaration to confirm that the client has accepted the details of the inspection along with the terms and conditions.
Review Inspection Summary
Review the details of the inspection along with the client to ensure all details were captured correctly. On this screen, provide a rating of the overall vehicle condition and capture the estimated valuation offer to be made on the vehicle.
Review Inspection Summary
Capture the signatures of the sales executive and the client to finalise the inspection and indicate the agreement of the report for the auction. Once complete, click Submit for approval by the Sales Manager.
