The Access Control feature on the DealersOnline app and auction platform is a security-focused tool designed to regulate and monitor user access to vehicles, facilities, and platform functions.

When to use it

This tool should be used when dealership staff are permitted to drive a warehouse vehicle out of the dealership.

Where to find it

Select Access Control

From the DealersOnline main menu, scroll down and select 'Access Control'.

How to use it

Capture Vehicle Details‍

Use the built-in scanner to scan the license disc or the barcode or VIN number to automatically capture the vehicle’s details. At the bottom of the screen, indicate whether the vehicle is entering or exiting the workshop.

Capture Driver Details‍

Scan the Driver’s Licence disk to capture the driver’s details.

Generate Access Control Report‍

From the auction grid, select ‘Stock’ in the navigation bar and click on ‘Access Control’ from the dropdown list to generate an Access Control report via the auction platform.
