When to use it

When initiating a test drive, you must capture and submit the details of the customer taking the vehicle for a test drive along with the details of the test drive vehicle.

Where to find it

Log onto Mobile App

Use your registered DealersOnline login details to gain app access.

Access Test Drives

From the main menu, scroll down and select ‘Test Drive’.

How to use it

Scan Driver’s License‍

Use the driver’s license scanner tool to automatically capture the customer’s basic details.

Capture Customer Details‍

Complete the Customer Details form by capturing the missing details on the form, including their cellphone number, email address and residential address.

Capture License Card Image‍

Take a photo of the driver’s license card using the built-in app camera. Alternatively, you may upload a photo of the license card onto the app.

Scan Vehicle Disk‍

Scan the vehicle disk found on the test drive vehicle to automatically enter the vehicle’s details. These include the VIN number, engine and registration number and the vehicle’s exterior colour.

Agree to Terms and Conditions‍

Use the toggle button at the bottom of the Declaration to indicate that you agree to the business’s terms and conditions regarding test drives.

‍Capture Signatures and Submit‍

Use your finger to capture your signature onto the mobile app. Both the customer and sales executives must provide their signature in agreement of the test drive details and declaration. Once complete, click Submit.

‍Log onto Auction Platform‍

To view the Test Drives report, you must log onto the auction platform using your registered auction details.

‍Access Test Drives‍

From the Auction grid, click on ‘Valuations’ in the navigation bar and select ‘Test Drives’ from the dropdown menu.

‍From this screen, you can view the submitted test Drive reports. You can view a PDF version of the report by clicking on the magnifying glass icon on the right side of the screen. Additionally, you can convert the Test Drive report to a Valuation by clicking on the arrow icon, found next to the magnifying glass.

Take note: Alternative to scanning the driver’s license or the vehicle disk barcodes, you may enter these details manually, but for a more efficient workflow, the built-in scanners auto-populate the registered details.
