The Fines Redirection Tool is designed to help dealerships manage fines associated with their vehicles and drivers.

When to use it

This tool is used when a fine has been issued against a dealership vehicle; the tool ensures that the fine is redirected to the driver of the vehicle at the time that the fine was allocated. This ensures that the correct driver is penalised for the fine.

Where to find it

View Fines

From the Auction grid, navigate towards the ‘Stock’ tab. From the dropdown list, click on “Fines”.

How to use it

Redirect Fines‍

Once a fine is matched to a driver, click on the green "Redirect Fines" button to officially assign the fine to the responsible driver. A new infringement number and AARTO certificate will be issued.

Review documents and manage notes‍

Check the driver’s loan form, license, and any other relevant documents to confirm the driver’s association with the vehicle. Add any notes for internal tracking or future reference, especially useful for fines that require follow-up.
