When to use it

When taking a vehicle out of the warehouse

You use this feature to check out a vehicle from the warehouse, should it be needed for business or personal use. The use of the vehicle may include a visit to a client or a business meeting.

When returning a vehicle to the warehouse

This feature is used when the vehicle removed for loan is returned to the warehouse. A similar process to the check-out is followed to return the vehicle.

Where to find it

Check-out (via the mobile app)

1. Access the mobile app and login
2. Select ‘Vehicle Loan’ from the main menu on the mobile application.
3. Select ‘Out’ from the Pending Loans screen.

Check-in (mobile app to desktop)

1. Access the mobile app and login
2. Select ‘Vehicle Loan’ from the main menu on the mobile application.
3. Select ‘In’ from the Pending Loans screen.

How to use it

Check-out

1. Scan the driver’s licence of the person responsible for the vehicle during its loan period. 
2. Collect and input the individual’s details.
3. Scan the vehicle’s licence disc to collect the vehicle information.
4. Select one of the provided reasons for the vehicle loan. 
5. Capture any damages on the vehicle and document its condition before it leaves the premises. 
6. Input the mileage, the quantity of fuel in the tank, and the expected date of return of the vehicle. 
7. Acknowledge the terms and conditions of the loan with the person responsible for the vehicle
8. Both parties must sign the declaration of acknowledgment.

Check-in:

1. Scan the vehicle license disc to begin the return.
2. Users can repeat the condition assessment to have a side-by-side comparison of the vehicle's condition from before the loan to its current condition.
3. The Vehicle Loan Report is generated and available on the Stock Dashboard on the DealersOnline platform.

View Stock Loan Grid

1. From the DealersOnline Auction grid, click on ‘Stock’ in the main menu ribbon.
2. From the dropdown list, click on ‘Loans’ to view the status of vehicles available for loan.

Check-out is completed solely via the DealersOnline app, while Check-in begins on the mobile app and the final loan report can be viewed via the auction platform.
